The HOTROD-A-RAMA show in Prescott was a big success!
Larry Way, Ron Olmstead and I really enjoyed the show. It’s different from most other shows as it featured real traditional hot rods and customs, no billet queens, no high-end shop builds, just great Hot Rods. Probably the best Hot Rod show ever. The weekend started out with a cruise from Prescott to Jerome. An unannounced stop in Camp Verde to be amazed by the multi garages and outbuildings full of cars and memorabilia. Truly awesome!
The show on Fri and Saturday was jaw dropping. This show is a must for next year!

Larry Way and I left Thursday morning at 5 AM in my 1930 RPU.
The drive to Pomona was uneventful, after a quick stop at the So -Cal open house we headed to the hotel.
Friday’s show was bigger than in past years, the set up was a bit strange but it worked. The Swap meet was scattered around.
Saturday turnout was bigger than I can remember in the last 3 years anyway.
We headed home at 5 AM Sunday morning toward the Arizona heat. Other than a few shake down issues the RPU did ok.

Russ and Ruth volunteered to host the June Putt. We had hosted one last year at THE PLACE Restaurant in Glendale and they were so good to us that we decided to try it again. So on June 13th, we were able to get 25 club members to meet at THE PLACE for some laughs, a lot of conversation and hey,  let’s not forget good food. I didn’t get one complaint about the food or the service. I feel that from Holly, the manager and all the service people, went way out of their way to make our experience a good one.Ruth and I would also like to thank all the club members that were able to make it to the breakfast. We know that being the start of Summer, a lot of members will be doing some traveling or just staying home out of the heat. Another thank you goes out the Mike and Susy Arney for bringing Cindy, Margaret and Rogene.
