It was a bright, clear Saturday (8/23/25) morning when almost 30 OTHG members met a Phil”s Filling Station in Fountain Hills for breakfast scheduled for 9am. I got a kick out of driving down Shea along side other members in their club cars, and watching the heads turn for second looks. That is what it is supposed to be all about–our old cars on the road!! I thought I was getting there early (8:30) only to find that almost everyone was already there. I greeted Phil and thanked him for having us at Phil’s to meet and eat in the room that fit our needs. We had 2 members show up (Bob Duyck-back from Oregon, and Page Barnes) who had not RSVP’s, but they took the place of Brenda and Larry Besore who had to cxl due to medical issues. Diane and Chuck LaVetter took a scenic route but ended up finding Phil’s eventually. My breakfast was very good, I thought the service was excellent , and I did not hear any complaints from anyone.
Thanks to everyone for coming and promoting the OTHG club by showing up in your yellow shirts!!!!!
