Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum, Mesa, AZ

Once upon a time a group of OTHG met at El Mirage and Bell road. There were five cars, Mike & Susie, Russ & Ruth, Ernie & Shirley, Tom & Kathee and James Turley that left at 0630 for our drive to Mesa’s Falcon Field. The drive was uneventful until we got to the HWY 10 tunnel where two lanes were shut down. A lot of drivers seemed to be confused as to where they were going and it was a little scary for a while but no paint was shared and we made it to the field in one piece. The five of us were able to park together and we learned that Art & Debbie were already there. Even though they didn’t park with us we all were able to sit together and share a lot of BS and good stories. LOL. The museum was great and as always they had a lot of planes and helicopters for us to view or walk through. The weather was good and we were able to find some shade to sit in. What else could you ask for? Would rate this show a 10. If you have not been to one of these shows, I would recommend it.
