What a great day it was for our Gang picnic!\u00a0 Our task was to get everyone\u00a0 together for new club photos and the lake was a great place to do it.\u00a0 We all arrived at\u00a0 Bartlett around 10:00 am, the weather could not have been better.\u00a0 The lake was calm and beautiful to see.\u00a0 Charlie and Danise Cover started taking\u00a0 pictures of members and the cars they drove.\u00a0 They did a great job of getting everyone’s picture taken and this is No Easy task, you know this is true if you were still around\u00a0 for the group photo!\u00a0 Haha.\u00a0 The club provided hamburgers and hot dogs and all the fixins’ with members brings sides and desserts.\u00a0 \u00a0We had a fantastic turn out, I believe somewhere around 44\/46 members but we had food to feed an army.\u00a0 Thank you to our grilling team, Art Thomas, Andy Yex,\u00a0 Larry Besore and Mike Arney, the burgers & dogs were perfect. We have some great cooks amongst us.\u00a0 The salads were all good and the desserts yummy!!!\u00a0 It was so nice to see everyone visiting,\u00a0 the laughter was loud and contagious.\u00a0 \u00a0In a year with many up’s and downs this was a great moment for the Phoenix Over The Hill Gang. Cars, Food and good times with fellow Phoenix Over The Hill Gang members. Thank you to everyone for making this a wonderful car club outing! It was a team effort.\u00a0 Special thanks to Carol Dalton who got the burgers & dogs, and all the rest of the board members for your help!!!!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
