Glendale, AZ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the past 8 years Ron Boen and John Logsdon have invited area old cars and street rodders to the Ron and John\u2019s New Years Breakfast Cruise.\u00a0 After several years with the January 1st party held at different venues the last three years have been located at Kimmyz Rock N Roll Bar and Grill at 5930 W. Greenway Road in Glendale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start out New Year 2025 a group of 84 car enthusiasts met old friends and made new ones at Kimmyz for a breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, toast and coffee\/soft drinks.  Kimmyz bar was open for extra cost beverages<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event always sells out using the original format which required pre-registration with a promise to show up and pay cash at the door.  Driving one\u2019s old car or street rod was encouraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to all the hungry participants who made the event successful by attending.  A big thank you to O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts, Speedway Motors, Vintage Parts of Arizona and Discount Tires for their donations for \u201cgoodie bags\u201d.  Special credit is due to Kayla and her Kimmyz staff for providing a great menu and tasty food for our group after working late on New Years eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positive comments were received and plans for next year’s event are on the calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
